Bodylastics Review
Bodylastics Review
In the major motion picture “Rocky IV”, Rocky agrees to travel to cold war Russia to train to fight the Russian champion Ivan Drago. Upon his arrival, he is taken to a cabin in the middle of Siberia where there are no weight lifting machines, and no comforts of modern life. Rocky improvises by chopping wood and lifting a wheel barrel that contains his trainer, his brother in law, and his wife. If Bodylastics had been invented when Rocky went to Russia, chances are Rocky would have used it to enhance his strength.
Bowflex, Total Gym and even Bally's have a $50 alternative - Bodylastics!
There is something to be said for having full compliment of strength training machines. A person can use these machines to increase muscle mass in the chest area, forearms, abs, and legs. The problem is, if you are planning on travelling anywhere, you can’t take your weight room with you. (Well, maybe you could, but it would be pretty darn expensive!)
Bodylastics is small, and can be stored in an overhead luggage department for those long flights to Russia when you travel there to take on Ivan Drago. It looks a little like a jump rope. It is an elastic band that can have handles or leg braces attached to its ends. The tension of the elastic band can be manipulated, so as you use it and get stronger you can adjust the tension to suit where you are in your workout routine.
Instead of using one machine for one particular type of strength training, you can use Bodylastics to get stronger in any area you wish. Bodylastics is sort of like having all the weight lifting machines in a small, lightweight, portable device.
Weight lifting machines cost thousands of dollars. You can get virtually the same workout from this amazing little device that costs under a hundred bucks. Bodylastics is perfect for those who want to build up their body but don’t want to spend thousands on weight machines or take the time and energy to join a health club. You can work with Bodylastics in the privacy of your own home.
It is also safer than using a bench press, as well as other weight lifting machines. With Bodylastics you don’t have to worry about a weight bar falling on you, and you don’t need a spotter. I do suggest you stretch out a bit before each use. Going into any workout routine before getting loose can cause you to stretch a muscle.
If I were asked to describe Bodylastics in one sentence I would say that it is a portable and easy to use strength training device that is easy to store.
